Move-in Checklist

Welcome to your new rental property.

We want to make certain you start your lease off on the right foot.

First Month's Rent & Deposit

Your first month's rent payment, your security deposit, and any unpaid application fees must be paid at the lease signing.

Move-in Date & Inspection

Your official move-in date will be set at the lease signing. We'll also schedule any inspections necessary at this time.


Utilities for your rental home need to be in your name. Please take care of this immediately upon signing the lease.

You are responsible for keeping the accounts current throughout the duration of your stay.

Move-out Checklist

As you prepare to leave your rental, review the details below.

Notice of Intent to Vacate

We need you to provide written notice of your intent to vacate your rental home. Please refer to the terms and conditions outlined in your lease.

Security Deposit

Your deposit will be returned as quickly as possible. We will perform a final inspection to see whether any new damage has occurred inside the home.

If we need to make repairs, we will deduct the cost of such repairs from your deposit. 

Please note, you cannot use your deposit to pay your final month's rent.

Property Condition

Your home needs to brought back to its original condition before you hand in the keys.

  • Rental Cleaning: Carefully clean every room in the property and remove all of your personal belongings. No garbage or refuse should be left behind. Pay special care in your kitchen and bathroom spaces.
  • Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If your home has outdoor space where you routinely address landscaping chores, do these once more before vacating.
  • Repairs: If any damage occurred during your stay, please make every effort to repair the damage. This includes patching nail and screw holes, repainting, and replacing broken glass and burnt lightbulbs.
